It was on an upper coupler I had, the t-bolt clamp was stripped (cheap ass cx racing) so it was tight but apparently leaked at higher boost. WOOOH!

I'm going to just keep it running haha. Work out bugs, HOPEFULLY MINOR ONES Then next summer it's getting methanol injection + 20G + BCS and retuned (I would guess around 320-360AWHP at DB). This winter will mostly be focused on getting the Evo's transmission fixed.
An interesting video (most of it's stupid) but this is a 2006 WRX with that setup making 417AWHP/460TQ on their dynojet. At the very beginning of the video it shows the powerband, I've never seen anything like it... makes my Evo look stupid.
LOL don't be silly man! An aquamist on your Evo would bring you up to just about that power level, not quite as much torque though. Having the power curve flat like that is a good sign the turbo is completely maxed out though, awesome that it flows enough to keep power steady up top w/o dropping off.
How big is the dominator (not actually a 20g right?) for that thing? Sounds like a good street setup, BBK-sized--my favorite! Did you not ride in my evo8? It did all of the stuff all mentioned in that video but better--true mapswitching (no wastegate pressure on alky off/fail) and 480whp dynojet
Great goals though, alky/e85 and a nice basic turbo upgrade make for a hella fun street car!

Yeah you're totally right I think my evo, especially with all the porting work done to the head etc, would result in about what your's did. Once I rebuild the Evo's tranny I plan to keep it the way it is, having a reliable semi fast DD is always good.
The Subaru has bigger plans. I plan on maxing the motor out, which is that range, and seeing where to go from there. I think 350AWHP at DB in a < 2800lb car would be hella quick, plus tracking that thing is the ultimate goal. I have a bone to pick with someone that will remain nameless. I plan on doing more suspension tweaks and weight reduction on top of the new power.
And yes your aquamist setup was fucking amazing, I've watched the video a couple of times and will definitely be inspiration of how my setup will eventually be setup. I've wanted that for a long time.

Do you know how high they were revving that Scoobie in the video?

Well I decided to buy a cheap ass WRX turbo for now and run wastegate pressure (7PSi sonnn) until spring. It took me like 1 1/2 hours to install tonight and runs fine. Maybe the car will last more than a week this time =D
The failure of the turbo could be one of three things.
1.) There's a filter in the banjo bolts for the oil feed lines on Subarus, these get clogged and there's a TSB on them, the dealers just remove them. GO SUBARU! I removed this tonight.
2.) The VF39 was beaten on before I got it, however it didn't have any shaft play when I installed it.
3.) Jesus hates me.
Now it's time to get the Evo running.
