Re: 2010 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 2nd @ Modern Automotive Performance

Yes, good day, and I exceeded my power goal of 200 (216hp, 251tq) not to bad for a tiny ass stock turbo.

Thanks to everyone who helped put this meet together, It's always a great time.

Double cheer for an awesome time. Even though my turbo oil drain back tube took a dump a few miles away. cut the flex pipe portion hosed it up and got her to map and back home! I enjoyed the trucks a little bit as well. Nice variety lots of srt's. Congratulations to everyone. Thank you admin's for making this happen and thank you to everyone that helped. Big Thanks to MAP! Till the next one, et the banning fest begin.

Was a good time as always. Lesson learned, if you think you should change your plugs before you go to a dyno day, you probably SHOULD do it.

Also holy crap, lots of pretty legit power setups this year! I felt weak with my X putting down 440whp, two 700+whp cars and 3-4 550+whp cars? Yeow, impressive!

Re: 2010 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 2nd @ Modern Automotive Performance

Took 41 pics yesterday, which is more than 5, for those of you wondering. They're processed and uploading at current. I'll start a pics thread when they're ready.

As for the event, awesome. Always a good time, lots of people making good power.

Re: 2010 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 2nd @ Modern Automotive Performance

Little dissapointed with my numbers yesterday as I made more last year at MAP, but found out when I got home my wastegate flapper wasn't sealing all the way. Dumb mistake on my end. All in all, had an awesome time though! Big thanks to Scheides, MAP, and everyone involved with the event for putting it on!

^to each their own. Keep in mind, you guys want spool, therefor, built it as such. I wanted a bit of lag for street driving, but then some "balls" later on/starting off in the right gear. For the first time yesterday, a 2-3 gear pull (jeff and matt and his gf can be witnesses to this) the car outright scared me. cold air, shitty tires. blah.

Thanks for the events you guys throw! Prizes and such are always nice, and with that wax spray I got I will use it all over the...non-painted areas of my car! YEA!!

When it comes to dyno day power prizes, it is usually the least practical car for the street that wins. I'm happy for you after everything that you went through but it's not for me.

That was the point I was making bud. I would not feel ashamed for scheides for his power levels, nor the distance you and dave have come in just under a year.

Sorry I didn't mean to hold out on ya! I tried to get a lot of people up here but near the end of the day that kinda fell apart.

I'll have the actual sheets up as soon as I get them from MAP. Yes, I was actually dynoing my diesel truck, not the X

lol, scheides stop being a bitch about 440. That is a good number, I know i wouldn't mind being there right now or by the END of next year.

Great event thanks for all the hard work everyone did.

Re: 2010 Fall Dyno Day - Oct 2nd @ Modern Automotive Performance

I had a great time at the Dyno day this year, Scheides and crew put on a top notch event. Thanks to everyone for the kinda words about my warranty experience, having the screen name tags was a great idea.

My favorite part of the day was the fact that Scheides did a double take on my dyno numbers. They dont really jive for a stock turbo pump gas tune. ..

440hp on tap..must be nice..sigh someday.
