this car makes me want to vomit

I am wondering why it looks like a guide coat on that car, and not regular primer.

Also, how come all the twisted koncepts guys roll with the guide coats on as well, I understand haveing something primer, but why go to the extra trouble of spraying some more primer over it if you aren't using it for its intended purpose.

Or maybe I'm retarded and there is a real reason besides using it as a guide coat.

(for those who don't know a "guide coat" is a mist of contrasting primer sprayed over the base primer to be sanded off to see high and low spots, black over gray is common)
