Re: House Projects

I took on my kitchen and living room for a remodel this yr. I think my upstairs and bathroom will be happening next yr, plus with all the freebies I've picked up looking to do a budget sauna possibly in spring. In the mean time enjoying my new wood stove on a cool night. Moved the window over the kitchen sink over 3', removed a large picture window and replaced it with a.sliding patio door, removed a entry door on the north side of the house and cut in a new window in centered on the wall. Just finished siding repairs this past weekend and added supports for my deck extension for next yr.

Finally got to work on my car, brought the head in and had new guides, valves, and 8 seats done. Fired it up tonight, fun to start it and not see copious amounts of smoke from the tail pipe. Can't wait to drive it!! 2-4 yrs of the car being down actually should be good now. I

That wood stove is awesome. And the whole interior looks very cool, rustic looking kinda. I like it!

Thanks for the kind words! It is very different from how it was originally. The house is just north of Duluth 1/2 way to Two Harbors so it is very fitting to be more cabin like. Added in a before picture of the kitchen as well as before and after for our front entryway.
