Yes they do, they've also added a lightweight class for the new 300 series of bikes.

Re: Swanny's new ride: 2003 Kawasaki ZX6RR

Had a decent weekend the 11th and 12th at the track, got a best of a 1:47.799 on the short course.

I also crashed (high-sided) in turn one and I am recovering from a cracked elbow and a few sprained ankles. (Right one is now fine, left one is still messed up). All in all for crashing at 130-135mph, not bad injuries.

Bike suffered minor injuries. The crash was a result of getting a hell of a drive out of turn 13 and entering turn 1 at a speed higher than I ever have. I felt 3 bumps and then lost the front end. Tried to recover, but was unsuccessful and eventually the rear slid out, then bit, and I was tossed off.

Safety gear did it's job and is pretty messed up, no concussions and only a cracked bone = good day.

I am grounding the bike until I put proper suspension in it to handle the high speed compression needs. At the rate of speed I am going now it is a bumpy and wild ride, hope to put some real stuff in there (stock suspension now with just springs in the front forks), and get back at it next season.

First picture is turn 13, 2nd picture is coming into turn 2 (about 140mph), and the 2 pictures are me passing people in/around turn 3.
