Re: Patrick's bikes

Look through your turns!

Scrapping exhaust and toe before I put my knee down.(fore warning, nobody got pics of it)

Entry after an instructor flies by me in the front straight(That was scary)

Trying to keep up with him through the turn.

I look like I'm just going for a daily cruise

One of the 2 only left turns when run in CW config. I need to carry more speed into this turn and hit it harder. My line sucks going through this section as well as right after the back straight.

This bike looks tiny!

Another daily stroll through the track(first lap/entering track warming tires first). Also airing out the cahones

These sets of pics aren't that great but I don't blame the photog as he was out on the track himself after being injured.

What I need to do to this bike is rebuild the rear shock. I went off the track at the chicane after the decreasing altitude left turn. Didn't lay it down but my rear shock bump stop was completely decimated. Other than that, the bike is pretty smooth. I may respring/valve the front forks but these are projects for over the winter. Tail chop came in today and will get installed eventually. I will also eventually need a high mounted exhaust as well as rear sets.(Or just get a dedicated track bike someday!)

Yes! I want to do a double header up there beginning of August, I have to see if the gf wants to go up but will need to tow. Either way. I'm doing one this year up there.

Re: Patrick's bikes

Downsized to one bike now. Currently only own the shadow 750. For now until I can get a dedicated track bike some day. Or a 848 streetfighter(drool) or something.

Updates for the bike: Bat wing! SOA tryouts are coming up. I have a new barnett clutch plates and springs to go in when I do an oil change and chain cleaning/lube. I also have hardbags to be painted and installed.

Plans: Tank is getting repaired by a neighbor and the bike will be painted black to match the bat wing. New sissy bar with a trunk option for touring with mi lady.

I should have just bought a goldwing.

Re: Patrick's bikes

Wow looks nice with the bat wing. I sold one of my bikes last week and I have the turbo bike for sale and I have a buyer lined up for that. Looking at cruiser bikes right now. Once the turbo bike sells I will buy another asap. Spring is almost here.

Re: Patrick's bikes

Needs more goldwing, haha. Batwing is huge, going to be plowing air! Will look better once everything is all black.
