Well, I don't know if anyone cares, but here is where my car is at. I just got a new camera, so I wanted to play with it

I should hopefully have the rest of the engine together today or tomorrow. Maybe have it in tomorrow night? That is probably a little optomistic, but we'll see what happens.

For those that don't know, that is a 2.4l with Wiseco 8.8:1 pistons on eagle rods. Majorly ported head done by myself. HKS 272 cams, Crower springs and retainers. No balance shafts, plugged balance shaft oiling holes, and deleted or cut down brackets on most everything.

Dude, how bad is your luck that the worlds smallest hurrican ran right through the inside of your car. Good luck on the clean up.

Also I noticed that you remove the tranny mount from the frame. I always just pull out the center bolt and pull the bracket from the top of the tranny. No big deal just looking at the different way people pull.

Yeah, I pulled the whole mount off when pulling it. It gives you more room to get it out.

Cher, you definately are farther along than I am. I still have to fabricate a 3" O2 housing and DP for my car after everything gets in. I want it running next weekend though.

Looking good JET.

I'd be farther with my 2.4 swap but I'm waiting on a head gasket. :headache:

Thanks guys! It is a long process, but it is getting a lot easier now that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having your own garage helps out a lot too! Thank God I bought a house!

Well, the cage is on the way! 6 pt chromoly from Chassis Engineering. I will be installing the 5pt with a swing out. Has anyone run into any of the IHRA tracks that got mad if you ran under 11.49 and had a 5pt instead of 6pt?

Here is the latest update!! Things went really good today. Thanks a TON to Joe and Andy for helping out! Oh yeah, Craig helped some too :P

I think I have caught up to you Cher! I am hoping to be on the road Wed, how about you?

I have to put on the fuel rail, coolant lines/radiator, Ic piping, turbo and make the O2 housing/DP. That should about do it!
