I'd guess the nut is somewhere in the intercooler piping, or maybe even in your intercooler. Rebuild would be a must here in my book, no reason to chance it and risk losing a motor too.

Yeah thats my guess, i was reading a lot about it happening to other people and they say that some red locktite should be on there. I didn't see any trace of that on mine, but i'm not sure that's a must either. oh well it's a shame it happened i suppose it's time for the bigger turbo i wanted haha.
