I have been doing a lot of research on theater setups lately and have mine pretty much nailed down. We have the same counter/bar stool setup going in behind the main viewing area. That works great!
Check out the BenQ 1070W projector, one of the best entry level projectors with a good amount of light which you will need since it is more open. Fixed projector screen? I have mine about 75% wired up right now. I just got done figuring out the 7.1 side surround speakers.
