Re: Mark's 1G Winter Projects
Thanks for all the feedback, painting is so worth it on this stuff, the car is like new! Better than new.

The wire routing picture is deceiving, there are zip ties on the timing belt tensioner bosses and on the right side of the assembly there are two zip ties that have anchors. It is kept well out of the way of the timing belt. Kiggley did his home work on this one. I work in the transportation industrial market and this would never be up to my standards for acceptability, however it will never be put through that lifetime of abuse that I’m typically expecting.
Update:
I have the fire wall and brackets done now, fuel system is under control, AEM Twin fire box, and the Aeromotive regulator are all mounted up. I have also found a new tool that I love. A threaded insert installation tool, makes all this stuff look factory installed with real fasteners instead of zip screws. Good stuff! Menards carries the guns for around 15 bucks, they are garbage but if you shim them they work good.
The harness will end up being a sizable challenge. I now have all of the lights wired, still need to add switches to activate head/paring lights (one simple toggle switch) and a switch for turn signal indicators. I used XLPE jacketed wiring, found it in 20 foot lengths on ebay, for a good deal.
