From what I've heard the dw300 doesn't flow much more than the 255hp. Also I believe Scheides is running the 400 not the 450 or at least he was with little to no issues. He can chime in though.
Also read on tuners that people were having issue with the 450 not flowing what it says it can and maxing the pump out around 600-650. Just what I have read I guessing can try to dig up the tuners link to in the mean time.
