Couldn't you just run one of these inline? They cost like $1




Otherwise if you do an egr delete (or have done so already) there shouldn't be much if any soot in the intake tract.

I probably could have but figured why not try and see if what I found that looks right, is right. A direct replacement always works without flaw.

I don't have a picture but I redid the setup not two hours ago. I JB Welded a vacuum fitting barb off of a plastic T or Y fitting to where the vacuum line was.

I have a spare intake manifold from the old engine that I have completely degreased and cleaned. I had planned to port match the runners, then do an EGR delete. This most likely will happen this summer sometime. I have also thought about going to a 2g TB. It is all up in the air right now though. lol
