The illusion colors are basically dormant colors so it's the illusion color base coat that cures a pretty dull/silverish color and then you can basically apply any level of clear (flat/semi/high gloss etc.) that will produce different finishes. Some of the illusions have the metallic flake in them like this Lite Blue but others are just a solid tone like the Illusion Purple.
Candies are a little different because the color coat is actually the second coat. They're usually applied over a chrome powder, real chrome or a silver base coat. Candies are basically transparent colors so whatever is underneath will show through which is why it's typically over a chrome or silver base coat.
Our sample bottles keep growing! We just added Misty Lava, Lazer Diamond, Splatter Burgundy, Mercedes Silver, and Illusion Purple, Blue and Orange Cherry with Flat Clear Coat!
