It's a type of floor coating which was most popular for industrial applications and is now becoming more and more popular for residential. It's stronger than epoxy, more flexible (allowing it to be more impact-resistant and less prone to chips or dents), and less prone to damage or marking from hot tires or corrosive fluids. It dries pretty quickly though which makes it harder for the DIYer to apply correctly. I believe it's more costly to install than Epoxy but I'm not 100% sure.

RockSolid (https://www.rocksolidfloors.com/) is the most common consumer brand/ application I've seen but I'd bet there are other brands used by professional installers.

This is the extent of my knowledge as I've only loosely read about it with the interest of my own garage in mind. I don't have firsthand experience which is why suggested Halon look further into it.
