I mean not a scrap yard. I want to see it back on the road or the drag strip. I was hopeing Brandon would take it but I'm not getting my hopes up with him building a new houe and all.

It is pretty stripped. To run it will need motor, trans, wheels and ECU. to swap back to 5-speed it will need pedal asembly and master and slave cyl's I think I have shifter and cables still.
interior wise it needs seats, harnesses ( I have one out of date left) and headliner. still has door panels carpet full dash and cenet councel.

Re: 90 Laser Shell / FWD auto drag shell
I think Katy would flip out if she came home and saw this sitting in the garage, lol.
Then again, she did just spend $300 on some vibrating weight loss thing...

Re: 90 Laser Shell / FWD auto drag shell
This could be a fun project if some people want to go in on it together. Start basically from scratch, build it strictly for the track. FWD Auto drag queen.
If some people were interested in doing a kind of "team" build with this chassis, I might be down with that. Just can't keep it at my place.

Re: 90 Laser Shell / FWD auto drag shell
If you guys go down this path, but be realistic about the amount of cash investment it takes to build the car, buy the suits, get to the races etc. As it will likely be much higher than initially estimated. Also be realistic about the amount of time involved.
Also make sure the AIV will actually work within the ChumpCar rules.

I'd be on board for this. Low budget drag car. Time and money are tough right now, but low budget would be doable. Just a low budget 16g setup, fwd auto, and make it as light as possible.
