Hehe, thanks for the welcome. I've been a registered member on GVR4.org since 07 I think? Wanted a VR4 for a long time. I have the same username over there as well.

Yea, it's replacing the rusty old talon that I've been daily driving for about a year I think. It'll be nice to finally have a nice car I can take care of and wax....

If you don't have one, "steve" on the org should have some 91 replica key fobs in stock ready to ship. All you gotta do is get your numbers engraved. I got 2 of them because my car did not come with one, plus I have a spare. Good luck with getting the car running and maybe I'll see you on the road someday.
Thanks! I love the 93 headlights too. The car did come with a key fob, I just need to get it engraved.

I took a few more pics:

Body is pretty damn straight. There's a few paint scratches down to metal but will be fairly simple to repair:

Worst of the rust is under where the fenders sit. It's the same on both sides, will be stripping it down and painting it tonight:

Engine bay shot again:

I plan to put the DSM ps res. in instead of the 4ws stuff, ABS was already taken out so the seller gave me a non-abs prop valve but I'll need to make 4 new lines. Will a DSM engine harness work with the stock Galant gauges without too much work? I want to make it easy and swap my Talon's harness that I've gone through and re- routed.

Re: 1945/2000 is mine!

Finished up the quick rust prevention on the major spots. Now I can put the fenders, side skirts, and doglegs on.
