That looks like the line at the stoplight after the awards when everyone left.

I was impressed by how decent and polite all the people at the meet behaved. I felt like I was accepted right away, something I have not experieced at either Nissan or Honda meets and certainly not how MNSC treats people. The food was delicious and the school makes a nice setting to have a car meet. I also appreciated the swag at the end of the meet for various categories. All in all, I would rate this meet as a 5 star! Thanks again Curt!

Thanks!! That is much appreciated. I have a great group of volunteers helping me and I put a lot of time and effort into putting together a great show. The only thing that is cheap about the Cookout is the price.

I don't have the results with me right now. But I'll get a page up here in the next day or two with all the results and the pics that I took.
Thanks,

Here's the starquest area of the OTHER section (nice MightyMax PU, btw...):
Larger than usual turbo (wouldn't fit in my quest, lol):
Winner of the cleanest interior award:
I even learned how to quickly & cheaply fix a starquest air dam:
It was LOTS of fun and I'm looking forward to next year!!

Nice pics guys. I took my camera, but never pulled it out to take any pics.

This car looks like a wreck that should be in a mad max film but under the hood was very nice.
Who had the fastest DSM at the get together again?

Well my car is a Galant VR4, the Pre-dsm vehical. I ran a 9.4@156.9mph.
From what I know the only thing faster was the MAP Rx7.

My best bet would be on the cheez head that had the super! clean purple 2g that was stock except he had a 14b so he probably blows black smoke. It was the only 2g I couldn't find strut mount rust on. Like they say, some times it's not always how fast it is except when it's a 1g that counts. 2g's look good but they are like the guy that got all dressed up for the prom but didn't have a date so they had to steal one from the 1g, am I right?

Re: All Mitsu Cookout -- Sunday, August 28th, 2011 -- Rogers, MN
Hey everyone,
I've finally recovered and caught up on things. I've got the page created with all the pics and trophy winners. Its at:
http://mn3s.org/cookout2011/index.html
Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Cookout this year. Thanks to my hard working volunteers and to our awesome sponsors: Brookdale Mitsubishi, Modern Automotive Performance and Midwest Turbo Connection.
Other than a few scary rain drops, everything went pretty smoothly.
later,
Curt
