Leaking oil from CAS... stumper

So i have a slow but steady stream of oil coming from my CAS area. The O-ring on the CAS is new, and I even pulled the valve cover and put sealant on the cam cap nearest that area on both sides to help seal it up.

Still leaks. Any suggestions?

Re: Leaking oil from CAS... stumper

I looked real close at the VC, didnt' see a crack, I dont believe the head either, but I will look at that. Its a rebuilt head.

I'm pretty sure the CAS o-ring I got was for the 1g 7 bolt, I wouldn't think they'd be different but the head is a 1g 6 bolt. I may call the dealer to see if its a different part number. I'm grasping at straws here.
