Yes I would say that the play is a little excessive, roughly 8x over excessive haha. I am dropping the block off at John Gosh's place mid week and hopefully will know what I need by the end of the week.

Ha well all I really have going for me is a pile of parts taking up space. Once I start doing something with them I will make a project thread.

FYI to all, the owner was gonna build a larger than stock displacement engine anyways. Car developed rod knock... and well, turns out it was much worse.
