one of the perks of having 2x rad caps with this setup haha, filled the radiator first with it running then filled it at the thermostat housing.
It had hardly any air in the system when I removed the cap and restarted it.
I had heard that about the half size radiators aswell, and will be purchasing a 2 core aluminum one after I get the headgasket replaced.
