My first question would be weight...is this stuff actually lighter than stock components...would be my only reason to buy.

Hood no, trunk yes. Our hoods are aluminum and the trunks are steel. My problem is that I tweaked my hood once when I slammed it shut. I either need a body shop to bend it back into shape or replace it. Not sure which I will do.

That's what i figured, one weight savings plan for me is to do a wingless carbon trunk, should drop 30-40 lbs I bet, that shit is heavy.

It will. The stock wing is heavier than my larger APR one.
