Biggest comment: even though attendance was down, I felt like the group that attended was MUCH more enthusiast-oriented, lots of people that really cared about all of the cars, and a lot of people that really really appreciated the event itself. I had a blast and I'd say this was honestly one of the best cookouts to date!
Who dis? Walked into my shot then I took the pic anyways
Re: All Mitsu Cookout -- Saturday, August 28th, 2010
i had a great time. My dsm has been on jackstands for a year so i was very happy it made it there and back and stronger then ever with the manual. Forgot my hood pins leaving the cookout and broke my windshield. Looks ugly as hell but actually not a big deal and im already in the process of gettin it fix it the uber cheap so not so big of a deal. So far thats 2 windshields, one lost to the latch malfunctioning and now forgetting the pins, shame on me. but i had a great time today.

Hey everyone,
Thanks to all the Mitsu owners that made it out to the Cookout yesterday. We had 127 cars registered, and another 10 or so not fully registered. Plus mine and the sponsor cars made for about 145 Mitsus at the Cookout. A little less than last year, but still not too bad. I'm working on getting a video up on YouTube to share.
Also thanks to all my volunteers that helped out and allowed me to actually look at cars this year. Thanks to Chris Deutsch for helping me out on the online voting web page. That saved me some more time in tallying.

Me and twack actually saw this car at rock falls earlier this year. We were just about to leave and here comes this black 1g spooling up to "impress" us. lol
He claimed it flows a hell of a lot more than stock....hahaha

After not going to the SCCA Solo Divisional in Lincoln, NE like I had planned I am glad I made it to the cookout. First time in 3 years, and first time with my Evo.
Thanks again to Curt and everyone who made the event happen, it's just as fun as I remember it being. It was fun meeting a few new people and seeing some old faces that we don't see very often anymore. It's not often that you get old school folks such as Shane, Mo and Steve Hill all in one place at the same time. That alone made the day worth it.
Also, thanks to everyone who voted for me. It was absolutely not expected, but I somehow walked away with the 3rd place trophy for the Evo 1-9 class. Next year I will be bringing some trophies of my own to display next to my car.

It might be a few days before I get a results page up and the pictures I took. But I can tell you that Chantz Leisz won Cleanest Car with his green 93 Stealth R/T TT.

this is my cousins car and in his defense, he picked it up as-is 3 weeks ago, not terrible for a first car but needs help.
