The sound in Imax makes it worth the money, alone. I want to see all movies in Imax.

It never did stop spinning, the end was a dream. Or "limbo" rather. Since they left him in the van underwater, he died in his dream without a kick to get out of it. Considering that plus the sedative they were talking about meant he was in limbo.
(When the top does stop in the movie, it stops rather quickly)

Everyone was using the technology or so it seemed so no moral qualms there. Remember, the reason we didn't see the children's faces is cuz he knew they weren't real. So at the end when you do see them I believe it was real. It stopped spinning.

He woke up from the kick in the van and ended up back on the plane remember.

Re: Inception *possible spoilers*
That was a great movie. I saw it last night after reading this.
Couple things though:
- The Totam did wabble a bit, and when he was explaining the significance of this with his wife when she spun it, it didnt even wabble at all, just kept spinning on end. Which would say he wasnt in a dream
- His children didnt age at all - Which would say that he was in a dream.
- When he was talking on the phone with his kids, the girl sounded much older than the little girl he saw at the end "Grandma says your never coming home".
- They never lead on to how much time has passed since he left his kids, was it a week, a month, years?

Re: Inception *possible spoilers*
Most the time he was away he was in dreams where time is considerably longer, so I am guessing it was less than a year that he was away.
The voice thing I would agree a bit, but who knows.

I swear somewhere in the dialog he commented on how long she had been dead, or how long he had been running.

Re: Inception *possible spoilers*
I kinda wish the power would have gone out 10 minutes prior to the ending, just so i could get to see it again for free and get some questions answered.

He never woke up from the van, the plane was his limbo. They were saying that when you're in limbo, you make your own world. And that's what he wanted more than anything.

remember each layer compounds time, so he would have enough time before drowning to death. I think it goes hr's, weeks, months, years.
first time he got out they were really old and it was only an hour or so in real life.
what's questionable is he saw his kids up to their anniversary, so why can't he project their faces.
maybe his guilt projected a maze for him and the girl planted the idea to forgive himself and move on. which would mean he is in a limbo but without guilt and he can project everything without any regrets.

Re: Inception *possible spoilers*
Great movie. Good story, good acting, good visuals. I had a feeling that the movie was going to end the way it did. I don't think this movie would have had so much success without and ending like that.

Re: Inception *possible spoilers*
I have seen this movie twice now, and was great both times. Second time was able to catch on to some things I missed the first time around. I wasn't disappointed by the ending, and haven't spent too many wasted brain cells trying to decide if he was dreaming or not. One thing that bugged me, was how the "kick" didn't make the most sense. Seeing as the guy made the formula, so that any sense of falling or tipping would make them wake up, wouldn't the van falling into the water wake them up? And why when they van was tumbling through the air, didnt the wake up? The "kick" when the van was falling, was earlier than expected as well, so wouldn't the sedative still be affecting them, thus, not allowing them to wake up?
