I agree that it'd save a lot of time to not bother installing the stock turbo but that means I have to do the work in a place where the car can sit for a few weeks or whatever. I might broach the topic with Shawn...not sure if it's feasible to do it out in one of their pole barns or not.

Chad quoted me like $1285 for that bigger wheel one brand new.

And you didn't take the deal. I paid retail, $1750 or whatever it was.

I made out better though since I got to use my stock paperweight for the Black.
Sold the red for 1300 and the upgrade for the Black should be 1000 so i made 300 Which is basically what I probably would've had to sell the stock one at. So basically a straight trade for the Black. I did lose out on the porting and coating though. But can't win em all.

I 100% understand. Chad is pretty understanding too, maybe he has a way to make it work out for all of us.

The second Walbro seems like overkill to me, but it is only on under boost. It probably won't hurt anything.

Lomker, sell your twin-pump setup to someone plus their stock hanger, recoup some of that lost $$ man!

Yeah but now I'm thinking about putting that off until August. My next track date is the 26th and I'm tired of missing them.
I need to have the fuel trims checked and that takes some time given Shane's schedule. If the car could stay in once piece long enough for one track day this Summer then that'd be nice.

I say just have DB/MAP/RS or someone rework your AMS intake to accommodate a 3.5" MAF housing. Should only take a few hours. Plenty of time until the 26th man.
Then have primo make it look good. You will have some wait time i am sure until shane can fit you in anyway. Intake time

Do you have a wideband? Get going on the evoscan logs we discussed, I can help you out if shane is too busy.

I'm thinking a Black when they are commonly available. Maybe over the Winter I can ship off my stock turbo and have it upgraded. If my BBX stays together until then then that's the plan.
I already have a tubular for a stock-frame turbo plus I'm going to have a custom intake made.

Planning to install a wideband on Saturday. Brought the laptop to work but didn't have time last night. Between grad school, work, and shuttling the car from shop to shop...I'm fried. I don't know how people with kids manage. lol.
