Know how and the tools to do something are two very different things.

There are jobs that I did on my X that would've been cheaper to pay someone to do it because of the tools i had to buy.

You pay for everything with either time/money. No way around that. Some people prefer to spend their free time not wrenching on cars. If i had unlimited tools i would do a lot of stuff myself. I love working on cars.

I park in a ramp. I can get away with a few things, but not much. I wasn't thinking about having a car hobby when I bought the condo.
