Maybe you should have thought of that as you were speeding around the corner? All I'm saying, and like everyone else told Tom.....if you can't pay the fine, don't do the crime. I'm tired of hearing how everyone wants to get out of it for this and that reason....well, if you can't afford to have insurance skyrocket, drive normal. That's all....

I would try to get out of it. The fines are going to be expensive along with the insurance hike. From what I have heard, a wreckless is just as bad as a DWI. I would try to say that someone cut you off or something. Say you didn't bring it up at the time with the officer becasue you were not thinking strait after the accident.

Well, I totalled my car tonight...Going a bit too fast sround a tight corner that I knew was there, locked up the tires and bam hit a curb. Proceeded to spin 180 degrees onto a sidewalk at which point my car was laying on my $200 18" rim in the rear and the front tire was inverted towards the body of the car. The rear hub completely snapped off and all of the control arms in the front snapped...
As Enes would so perfectly say: Why does life suck so much?
Anyways, since my car will more than likely be totalled I will be going back to stock in the next few days...Here is what I have and what I still need:
MBC - Have the stocker
BOV/UIP - Have the stocker
Intercooler - Friend has a 1g
Ex Man - Friend has a 1g
O2 - Friend has a 1g
Turbo - NEED A T25!!!
Exhaust - Have a 1g, but let me know if you have stock 2G FWD!!!
Injectors - Have some that will fit
Fuel pump - Have the stocker
ECU - I'm keeping my damn dsmlink! Leaving it out...
Air Intake - Still have stocker
Clutch - Have a stocker
Tranny - Anyone have a broken one they want to sell/give me?
Flywheel - Anyone have one?
Shocks and Springs - They are pretty jacked, I'll leave em on I guess...
Basically I need a T25 for sure, the tranny and exhaust aren't necessary but let me know!
Anyone know if they will try to start the car or look at the engine when they come to appraise it?
It's been a lovely day!

BTW, what other damage was done to make you assume you car is going to be totalled? You didn't mention rolling it, or any other body damage...just the control arm snapping which wouldn't cause enough to total a car out. Just curious.....

I'll take pics tomorrow, and I personally think that destroying my pride and joy was lesson enough. I won't do it again, and I don't think me paying some fine will make me realize the err in my ways anymore than I already do...Everyone makes mistakes, to err is human...Live and learn, live and learn...

did you think to try to buy it back? I know a guy that had a gread 95 gsx that he bought back for 900 bucks... he ended up fixing it because it was so nice but if he didn't it would have made a great parts car. just a thought that you might be intrested in.

dang dude that really sux. It's funny cuz like the person who told me about this site was telling me how awesome he thought your car was. His name is Erik, he's kinda a friend of a friend, i've only met him like once or twice, but he seems kinda cool. But he said he raced around with you one day. He just bought a 1g gst. and he was tellin me about your car, and said that u were like a member on this site. Then he told me your name on here and i started laughin cuz i have a rear license plate frame that says across the top 4G63, and the bottom reads "V8 KILLA!" and it kinda reminded me of your name. anyway, sux about the car tho, maybe its a sign to go awd man!

Well here they are...
http://www.msnusers.com/TotalledCar/shoebox.msnw
It is hard to see why exactly it is totalled, I tried to get some pics of the bent subframe stuff but they didn't turn out well...On top of the obvious suspension parts both the front and rear supports that go under the car are bent to hell. And there is some damage to the front bumper, rocker panel, and some other things I am sure...Oh yeah, the axle pulled out of the boot on the passenger side too...
Enjoy!

Well the outer boot kept tearing, that was the driver's side...The inner part of the passenger side axle is what got torn apart in the accident...
Maybe I can get the video of my car being dragged onto the flatbed, that would e fun!
