Re: March for health care!

Man i just spent a while reading all of this...and wow is all i have to say.

I don't know enough about the situation to really argue, as I haven't had enough time to research it but more government control historically has not really improved much. It isn't all doom and gloom i don't think but I don't think it will work like everybody thinks it will.

I concur for sure that corruption stinks big time on this whole issue though. What worries me a bit is the president of my company sent out a letter saying how everything is finally turning around and that the economy will pick up as long as the government stops spending money and so forth. The first good words out of his mouth in months and now we are really going to get hit with taxes...yuck.

I have always said that sometimes it's best to let the other side have their way for a while and see what happens because usually no matter who it is, repubs or dems, they usually end up making themselves look bad by the end of 4 years. Case and point, 2 years this time though.

However i think it will all even out after the conservatives retake everything after all this mess over the past year.

I try not to care about this, it's too frustrating and people get way too pissed too easily.

LOL. Just like how they evened out the surplus we had when clinton was prez. They did an even better job being that they caused a deficit. Thats over acheiving.

I actually thought Clinton did a decent job.

However the surplus came for one reason...because nothing got done by the feds for that time. The president was dem and the congress was controlled by the repubs, marginally I believe. Basically a bunch of arguing and no spending and therefore a surplus, woo. Letting capitalism takes its course is the best thing we can do for the economy.

But Clinton was a dumb ass and made it possible for every idiot to think they are entitled to own a home and mortgage and everyone should get a loan. Which caused the current economic meltdown. Bush did nothing but made it worse.

I try and hate on everyone equally, I think most elected officials are jack asses personally, but i tend to agree with republican views.

Lots of the surplus came from Clinton cutting the Military down to the bare minimum.

That and borrowing heavily from the Social Security fund (which we will have to pay back soon and don't have the money)
