my '90 talon

So I figured I would make a post about my car. I had it for about 4 months now and bought it 100 percent stock. Well I drove it for about 2 weeks and the timing belt broke and broke valves..Shitty. I was determined I was done with dsm's for while and wanted to get a suv. Long story short, its fixed now with a new head,(courtesy of Dane Tolzmann) and has some new things going on

At first I wanted to run an evo 3 16g, but I got my hands on a Bullseye 50 trim, 650's, walbro 255, Ported 2g mani, ext. wastegate, SAFC, front mount, GM MAF and translator, 3 inch turbo back, and probably some other shit I cant remember.

Got it all put together(thanks to Dane) and its running good. Gotta get it tuned in, and fix a leaky valve cover gasket and then its ready to go for now. It slowly but surely coming along, and ill keep getting new things as I find good deals. Now for some coilovers, and 272's!

By the way for those that saw my WTB ad for a restrictor, dane made a restrictor and it works great and the turbo spools very well !

Ill get some pics up tomorrow

America...hey I helped....and I'm pretty sure that was my head on that car haha. But then again Dane owns whatever ends up in his garage. I took a great pic of your glowing red rotor last night, I'll have to get that up.

The driver rear was hella locked up. Julian pulling the ebrake locked it up again, so yea it was red hot when we got back.

sweet project man. turbo looks good. did you have to run a spacer to fit it or does it just sit extremely close to the block?

Re: my '90 talon

Suprisingly enough, it fit without any issue. Dane went ahead and pounded down the the water pipe just a bit, but it turned out to be unecessary, since it fit fine anyways.

Please tell me that bailing wire isn't actually holding up the FMIC in any way.

Nope, that was just for mock up and measurements to make brackets. It has 4 frame mounted brackets holding the fmic on there, it's not going anywhere haha.
