pfft, it's only December. Lots more cool shit to come out between now and early spring. We'll see what happens in the next few months. As far as I'm concerned, I've been 'stepped up' for the last year almost with the BBK, still waiting for other slow-pokes to catch up!

Re: New FP Black HTA82 for Evo 8/9--biggest bolt-on turbo yet!
Lol, I saw I think somewhere else (not sure did a lot of research on stuff) that this black has actually made similar numbers to the new 6262 on the same dyno at very close boost levels.
I must say very good stuff makes me want to buy an evo sadly I dot think I will ever be rid of this DSM.

You know, this is my biggest gripe with this turbo. Tons of people are calling it 'stock appearing' and I am continually raising a BS flag, no one acknowledges the simple fact that it is NOT stock appearing! Close, yes, but not truely.

Re: New FP Black HTA82 for Evo 8/9--biggest bolt-on turbo yet!
None of the current FP turbos are stock-appearing anymore. The only one that REALLY is would be the BBK; the Tomei ARMS is close though.

Closer, yea, but it still has a huge TOMEI sticking out of it!

I sincerely hope they don't allow these turbos to compete in the stock-appearing category at events like the buschur shoot-out. Not that I will necessarily be there and competing, but just as a matter of principal. If they do, then they should allow DSMs to run FP Reds or HTA DSM82's, which are bolt-on, but clearly not stock appearing.

My mistake on the Tomei, that one is no better than the FP turbos!

Actually the older reds and greens don't look that far off, the white's also. At least the compressor housings anyways.
