Nope, the wheel didn't start loosening up until after lunch.

I spun because my brakes were fading, I came over a blind crest which was immediately followed by a 90deg right, I got on the brakes, but they didn't slow the car down enough, so I was still on them when I turned in. The weight shift combined with the extra negative camber in the back just snapped the rear end around and there wasn't enough tarmac between me and the inside shoulder for the car to stay on the road when the front tires dug in. I should have known better, this isn't the first time I've had it snap sideways while heavily braking into a corner (just the first time on public roads).
