the new devil

Alright well since i sold my last one two years ago i have been looking for the right time to buy another talon, and at the right price. So after searching for the last two years i came across this 1991 turbo all wheel drive talon on craigslist, it was at $500 bucks, but i thought thats a decent deal but not what i want. A few days later i see the car again but this time at $100 bucks and thought to myself alright thats my price range, emailed the guy and closed the deal on the phone for the car.
My wife and i drove down to elk point and picked the car up from the guy, little bit worse shape then i was planning, but it has its good points. It is definatly a project. Well on to the pics
I was told the car had the 4g63 non turbo motor in it but im not sure as of yet, still waiting for some good light so i can check the code lol.

Notice the bullet holes in the rear quarter lol

Well thats all the pics that i have of it at the moment, hopefully picking up some eibach lowering springs here real soon for it, and then getting my front mount put on. Let me know what you guys think

Re: the new devil

It's an awd n/a? Or an n/a 4g63 with a turbo? Regardless, it's a good deal for $100.

Re: the new devil

its a n/a 4g63 with the turbo on it, the car is missing the intercooler pipes and has no gas so i havent tried to start it yet, i dont know if it will. The guy i bought it from said he started it last week and moved it around the driveway but it died right away (no intercooler piping). So i think with a little love the car will fire right up

n/a 4g63? You're not gonna swap it out for the right one then?

I would pop the hood and inspect before driving down the road. Especially because of the most ignored item, timing belt!

Re: the new devil

well i tinkered with it a little bit today, i bought a set of stock intercooler piping bolted up the maf and tried firing and no go. So i sprayed some starting fluid into it and the car fired right up! smoked alot, and has no gas in it so only ran for maybe 10 sec or so and that was it. I replaced the battery cable ends, threw my battery from my civic into it, tested all the headlights blinkers wipers windows and it all worked! and the caps in the ecu have already been replaced! now just to see if it has a eprom in it....
