I've dealt with boils before but I don't know what the fuck that was.
EDIT: I became curious, so I read some of the comments, did a little research... The white stuff is due to an infection which carries staph bacteria. A wound that size should probably have been packed with gauze to aid in healing and to prevent further infection. Chances are that guy ended up at the doctor after a few days with an even worse infection than before.
