MattD is stuck in the UK! Help!

I got this email today....

Talked to Dizzle, and looks like his account was hacked. I was thinking WTF this can't be real... and then the message sender said that they prepaid for the hotel, but then needed money to pay for the bill.

I haven't seen this tactic yet. Stupid scammers haha.

Yeah, this is about the third time in the past year my Windows Live account has been compromised. Of all the accounts I've ever had, this is the only one that has ever had problems, but all I use it for is MSN Messenger and live.com itself, I never use the email. Unfortunately I don't think I'm getting it back this time, they changed the alternate email address to itself, so when I request a password change it mails it back to the same address... Good job, Microsoft. *slow clap*

No idea how it happens. I don't use a messenger client, only meebo.com. There are a ton of spam messages from MSN Messenger (maybe I shouldn't be so desperate to get laid tonight?) so I'm not going to miss it that much, but losing my live.com profile sucks.

Haha, scammers try WAY to hard.

On another note, I hope no one actually DOES get stranded somewhere. Thanks to these scamming douche bags it would be harder to get some funds.

Sounds legit but you can sense that something is wrong by reading. Sounds like another craigslist email scammers.

You are correct, I'm actually in the UK right now. I'd say check the IPs that I'm posting from but I'm remoting into my computers at work and home. Please send money immediately!
