The machine shop you bring it to will let you know if its possible or not, i think they have clearance on the flywheels for machining once.
Otherwise friction plates aren't that spendy.
good thing: sfi approved
bad thing: lighter, harder to launch with it
its your call, if its a good deal i'd def look into it.
