Reliability is fine with me, Since when i got RROD i had a new xbox at my door in 3 days.
The new Elites aren't loud at all, Using Windows Media Connect on the xbox is amazing, you can almost completely control your PC through your xbox.
Xbox has infinitely better online, and has more "great" games. Both of those are what gamers look into. If the Xbox had BR, and no RROD the PS3 wouldn't even be considered. Theres a reason the PS3 got named "Failure of the year" when it came out, and to this day xbox's are outselling PS3's.
At the same time, I do like some PS3 things. They both had backwards compatibility, then Sony took it out for some reason. Sony has built in wireless (hella nice) BR, and has no such thing as RROD.
