for his, the total cost for building was 670 and hes buying it from me for 900, but thats because it uses all laptop parts basically (slim dvd, slim hdd, slim ram, slim everything)
my comp with the 200gig hdd will cost me about 70-100 less than his since im using a larger case, but i also spent the extra cash on the touchscreen
