I would like to be there tonight, and I'm perfectly free, however my mom, being her usual bitchy self, has forbidden me from driving
her car anywhere but to school, and then proceeded to forbid me from driving my own car, with a critical suspension bolt broken (It won't come out, and I'll explain more if I come).

So, in the unlikely chance that I can't get my dad to get her to shut the fuck up, I'll be needing a ride.

Dude, I'm not trying to be a dick here, but that sounds completely reasonable. Your car is in a state of partial disrepair and apparently isn't safe for driving and it's not like you have a right to drive her car. Chill on your mom, just consider yourself lucky she's letting you use her car at all. Once you have a job and the hoopty is fixed all will be well!

Along the lines of the Talon, while my mom doesn't want me driving it, my dad was surprised to hear that I hadn't been. I put 140 highway miles on it since breaking the bolt without incident. That shit is welded inside the bushing with rust, and it's going to take nothing short of a plasma cutter to free it.

Regardless, I would guess that this means I'm out for this week at the very least, then.
