I know a guy that has had HX-35 with the BEP housing on his VR-4. He has HKS 280 cams and that thing spools like crazy. At part throttle at 10-15mph you can hear how that thing is begging to be pushed, spooling for no reason just waiting for you to hit it. It hits like a 16G.
