Mountain Bikers!

Anyone else into mountain biking? I just bought a new bike a few weeks ago and have been hitting the trails as often as I can with some coworkers. We have a thread over on EvoMN getting a group together and I figured I'd see if there was enough interest to do that here too.

Re: Mountain Bikers!

Thanks for the links, I've been looking at MORC to get trail info, but I'll check the others out too.

Re: Mountain Bikers!

I ride quite a bit.

I don't get up to the metro trails too often though. I just rode Murphy last Sunday, that is a fun flowing tail. I usually ride 7 mile, and once in a while hit up Mt. Kato.

Re: Mountain Bikers!

I used to mt bike quite a bit a few years ago, but now I'm more into road biking. I'd like to go hit up some trails again though. I always liked Theodore Worth, it was a nice loop. Lebanon Hills is nice too, but it can get hairy if you're coordinationally challenged like me.

Re: Mountain Bikers!

I'm jealous of you guys.

I was planning on coming up and riding Lebanon this morning, but instead I have been sitting around coughing my lungs out from a cold all weekend.

Re: Mountain Bikers!

Lebanon is fun, but I think I prefer Theo just b/c the laps are shorter and you can do it multiple times w/o killing yourself (plus its within riding distance from my apt).

Let us know if you ever want to come up and ride with us.

I hate it when that happens. I've had 3 frames crack on the rear brake welds, 1 snap on the top tube, and 1 crack on the bottom bracket welds. But none of that was from xc riding...
