Lol.. I posted this on my local board, and someone got really offended by my "childish drawing" and how it has no guidelines and should follow these lines to be 3d like, and corrected it for me.. lol

I guess some people don't understand surrealist/ abstract art?

I think the only reason he would say things like that is because at first glance it doesnt look like a surrealist drawing. (usually surreal drawings and paintings twist all forms of reality and would not leave a perfect representation of a car, I went to a crazy Exhibit of Savador Dali in L.A. if it ever goes to the walker or any of the art galleries i suggest definatly going) It looks like you are trying to do a Perspective drawing. Thats also what i thought when i first looked a the drawing "the road leads way too high and the car looks lke its digging into the road" was the first thing that came to mind. Im not knocking your art or anything because id like to see the final product, but i can see where the guy is coming from when he talks about guidelines. As for it being childish, i think thats a childish thing for him to say.
