ase certified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm not actually certified yet I don't have enough work experience but I took 5 ase tests this spring electrical, brakes, standard drivetrain, steering and suspension, and automatic transmissions and we were able to check our results today online and I passed 4 out of the 5 I failed automatics but my teacher said that was the hardest one. but I'm still stoked I passed the other 4. I'm bored and excited so I just thought I'd let you all know.

Re: ase certified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice going man! My teacher also told me auto tranny was the hardest. If I were to get 1 more question wrong I would have failed Auto tranny and heating and AC(I believe).

Re: ase certified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah most of the questions on the test were about 4 speed transmissions and computer/scan tool stuff and at century our teacher only went over 3 speed transmissions and very little on the computer/scan tool stuff so it was kinda rough taking that one

Re: ase certified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would take ase's but it would do me no good at my dealership since volkswagen does not care about ase's, you have to take the "special" VW classes to be certified.
