Which I have told him 100 times, it probably is getting a random misfire from the 1g CAS. DSMLink would take care of this as he said he was already planning on buying it.
Buy it, if that doesnt solve your issue, go from there. Either that or get a 2g Cam/Crank sensor put in and see if that helps. DSMLink would probably be the same price and you actually would get something out of it if it doesnt fix the problem.
