Re: MitsuStyle Spring cruise -April 12-13, 2008
The cruise is getting near! Everyone try to get their cars wrapped up this weekend so you have all of next week to iron out the bugs.
I'm installing a mini-battery kit this weekend and then next Friday I took the day off work to give the Evo a detailing (and get a massage). Janelle and I will also be installing her new intake this weekend so she'll be ready to go too.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring cruise -April 12-13, 2008
looks like it will be the mad dash to get everything done this week.
now I have to fix my car.
the fucking flywheel came loose on the twindisk (that only took 2 weeks)
I will put in the auto ring from my 2.4 block and will be welding the bolts to it so it will not come loose a 2nd time

We are a little late on the ball, but depending on if I can get the dog set up in the kennels at work, we can go. I'll let you know officially Monday.
So, possibly:
stargirljulie/Julie & Brian -- 2007 WRX (and no, it's not the same WRX from last year, we are sportin' a different one... some old guy crashed into the blue one, boo).

Janelle installed her new intake so her car is ready to rock the cruise! I also got my new mini-battery kit installed so I'm good to go too.

SPT (Subaru's house brand of performance parts), its a very nice piece and the car definitely pulls harder up top and idles/runs perfectly smooth. The heatshield fixes the heat-soak problem most of the short-rams have. Even after a good beating the filter/intake pipe were ambient cool while the heatshield was warm/hot depending on the area. Plus, she loves the sound it makes under acceleration at when it blows-off.

SPT is good stuff.
Gotta love subaru "throat" with an open filter. Does it have exhaust yet? That will really open up the noise.
