When I install my oil pressure gauge I'll wire it so that when the lights are off it lights up white, and amber when the lights are on.

It's supposed to be white until you turn your headlights on, thats what the website says....

in the directions it tells you how to wire it up to have it light up only white, only orange, orange day/white night, or white day/orange night. I wanted to have only orange but it was to dark during the day to see, white is to bright for night in my opinion. I just wanted total control with a switch!
