Re: Bridge Building Game - educational and addicting as hell
I remember playing bridge builder v1 in spring of 2001 in my dorm room. I think the next fall v2 was out and had some more complex physics built into it.
Very fun game though. I had one bridge that collapsed as the train was crossing and it sent the train flying across in the air, but it still counted.

Re: Bridge Building Game - educational and addicting as hell
Someone should build the 35w bridge. LOL.
I find that if you use Arches it helps a lot, kinda like the logic of the VW Bug.

Re: Bridge Building Game - educational and addicting as hell
When everyone gets through lvl 15 of the old maps, lets post up screenshots of our solutions. Should probably host the screenshots elsewhere so we dont clutter the thread with hundreds of pics in their entirety.

Re: Bridge Building Game - educational and addicting as hell
I am on level seven, had to stop and study for a midterm, but it's a fun game, 7 is much harder than 6, only because of the size and time required. Does anyone else have a slow-responding problem? I have to sit and wait for the mouse to move when I move. It could be my old, slow laptop, too, I guess.

Re: Bridge Building Game - educational and addicting as hell
I have a hard time deleting stuff. like I hit delete and nothing happens. Also after I build something idk how to like quit adding pieces and go to a diff spot. It keeps wanting to connect everything. O well time to crack down on level 7
edit: level 7 took like 5 mins

Re: Bridge Building Game - educational and addicting as hell
Level 13 and 14 were pretty easy. Level 15 has me totally fucking stumped though. Has anyone beat it? That damn train won't go up a hill!

I just got to level 11 on "01-Old" and I clicked on "02-New" just to see what it was and I lost ALL my progress! Bah! Now I have to start all over
