If I'm not there right away I'll be there closer to 8, but I will still be going.

I just went food shopping. (yes i'm an idiot) Roads are fine, main roads are wet, side roads slushy, I could barely get the ranger to drift.

Good time, we were there for a while, food was better I think even down to the fries. Good bonus to leave there with a low tab as well.
Oh, kicking the clutch works! (But i won't be doing it too much, snow tires are too powerful)

Yikes, I would have given a normal-to-slightly above average tip, despite the terrible service and coked-out behaviour of our server, had he not included a gratuity on the bill. Fries were good, cake was a mistake.

Make a mountain out of a mole hill much?
Terrible service? The guy was around quite frequently, the food was delivered quickly and was hot, and the BARTENDER prepared our table and seated us after a couple of us ordered beers at at the bar first. Who cares how he acted, seemed fine and friendly to me.
I'm certain it's the restaurant's policy, not the server's, to include gratuity on groups over a certain size. If you don't like it you are welcome to go sit at a table by yourself.
I have enjoyed Senser's forever, have never had bad food or service there and their drinks are always reasonably priced.

Speak for yourself, Mr. 'I typed a book to show you that you're dumb.'
Maybe I will sit by myself in another fucking restaraunt, but that's just not as fun. I felt like that dude was annoying and he was slow. I axed him for stuff and he straight forgot about it. It was bad service. Good service that deserves a tip greater than 15% is not calling you buddy or guy or man. If they call you anything, it would be sir, and they wouldn't forget your order. I only posted that because I'd been talking about with you and others in real life like half an hour before hand. I thought we were on the same page but I guess not.

Re: Weekly meet thread - Read the last page for info!
Yeah, he was around all the time apart from the time I did run out of a drink, but he was around so much that for once I couldn't really get mad about it.
The gratuity thing, well tip how you see fit.

Re: Weekly meet thread - Read the last page for info!
It seemed comparable to Champps as far as price goes. It was one of the best burgers that I've had in a while. Service seemed good to me. I usually tip better than the suggested tip so their loss on that.

Re: Weekly meet thread - Read the last page for info!
The nachos and wings were some of the best Ive had in a while. I thought the service was great too, the guy was a bit weird but nice and always around...
I think this is a great meet spot, wasnt too busy even, but that could be due to weather and the night before thanksgiving.

Re: Weekly meet thread - Read the last page for info!
Any votes for what to do next week? Try here again, try Acapolco in New Brighton.
Couple other ideas I had was Mermaid in Mounds View, or Blue Fox in Shoreview. Mermaid is maybe getting a little to North and goes against the "centralized" mindset a little, but thought I'd throw it out there. Blue Fox is right off 694 in Lexington so while it may be on the north side, it's right off 694 so convenient in that aspect. But parking there can be kinda crappy sometimes...
Otherwise I'm cool with Sensers again, or Champps (although seating might be tricky), or whatever. What's everyone else thinkin?

Re: Weekly meet thread - Read the last page for info!
I'm not sure about this week, but I think senser's beats out Champps for me, seats were more comfy too and the place seemed a lot better.
i think as long as there aren't too many big games on a wed. night we should be ok there.
I'd like to try out Acapulco as well, I haven't been there in over 5 yrs.

Re: Weekly meet thread - Read the last page for info!
So other than Andrew, it sounds like people liked Sensers for the most part? Sensers again next week? I really don't care, I think I've thrown out like 5 ideas...
