If you are looking for a boot for everyday riding I would stay away from both of those. In my opinion they look too dedicated for track use and would look kinda dorky when riding casual.
Of the 2 though, the Joe Rockets look much better though.
I like these Joe Rockets much better than the Oxtar and they are still a race boot which seems like you are looking for.
