Bleeder is right, for some reason, these do not like street use(they have burned up pretty quick). I'd consider possibly switching to something else. Just a thought.

Link? As far as we know (and we have searched around a LOT) there has NEVER been a 4g63 powered RX7. I do know that Shearer Fab has an FC in the works and I have heard of someone else that is planning on twin turboing an FC, but have yet to see any RX7 move powered by a DSM motor...

This car will see the street for maybe two nights per month in the summer, and only to head about 10 miles to university and back We originally wanted to use the new Fuelab pumps, but they are still in R&D. As soon as they are produced we may have a sponsorship and ditch these anyways.

I've seen one powered by a sr20 or ka24 but never a mitsu motor.

It says in the instructions for the A1000 fuel pump that anything more then 30min of run time you need their voltage regulator.

Re: Our new project car has arrived...

Probably because unless you're at WOT the pump can't move enough cool gas through itself and reduce heat. Just a guess. Go with three walbros. They don't have "bro" in the name for nothing.

Re: Our new project car has arrived...

oh, never mind. I was told about that car and that shearer fab was looking into developing motormount kits and it was assumed that there's was already moving...

I'm sorry for my incorrect information, I wasn't sure and it turned out to be incorrect. Looks like alot of people WANT to do the swap but aftering looking around all I see is alot of talk and no solid proof. Looks like you guys will be the first. Either way I still think it is an incredable Idea.

Next I want you guys to make a kit to put a 4G63 into an old school mini. People have been putting vtec's into them and having to streach them 6 inches, the body parts are made for the swap, think it will be enough for a 4G63?

Yeah people have been talking about it for years, and to be honest if we weren't going to be the first we might not have went this route. I mean, if we are already spending all this money and taking all this time why not go 2jz or LS7? lol
