WHITE MAN FATHERS 16 CHILDREN (:-o) * Guitars *, * NOW INCLUDES AMPS & PEDALS*

There is another side of me that some of you already know, I PLAY GUITAR semi-professionaly. I took some pics for a guitar/amp forum I belong to, so I thought I would share them with you, so I posted them up. If there are any players here, and I know there are a few of you, get ready to drool.
-
First time they have all been in the same house at the same time.
Sorry if any are blurry, I don't know what was going on with my camera.
-

-
Front row:
The two reasons why I play guitar. My dad and EVH.
1957 Gibson Les Paul Special - TV Yellow - the real deal, not a reissue (yes, I still have the original bridge which will slip right back on)
Frankenstrat - built to spec (SD EVH, Floyd)
-
Middle row, left to right:
Gibson Gary Moore Les Paul - Lemon Burst (SD Dist/SD zebra Jazz)
PRS Custom 24 - 10 Top Violin Amber Burst - pre-automation (EMG 81/85)
The Heritage VIP1 - Tobacco Burst (solid qulited maple body/quilted maple neck, SD Screamin' Demon)
The Heritage VIP1 - Cherry Burst (quilted maple top/mahogony body/mahogony neck, SD zebra Invader/SD zebra Jazz, Kahler)
Ibanez RG7620 - Vampires Kiss Met (EMG 707-81/707, Floyd)
Ibanez RG1527 - Cosmic Blue Met (SD Invader7/SD Jazz7, Floyd)
Ovation GCXT - Red Ghost Flame Met
-
Back row, left to right:
Gibson Les Paul - Gothic (EMG 81/85)
Jackson USA Randy Rhodes - Gloss Black early run/low serial number 80's era (SD Invader/SD Jazz, Kahler)
Hamer Californian USA Elite - Aztec Gold (solid flame maple body, EMG 81/SA, Floyd)
Hamer Californian USA Elite - Amber (solid flame maple body, EMG 81/SA, Floyd)
Hamer Californian USA Elite - Iridescent (SD Invader/SD Cool Rails, Floyd)
Hamer Californian USA - Iridescent (SD Invader/SD Cool Rails, Floyd)
Alvarez acoustic - Natural
-
More pics:
-

1957 Fender Tweed Deluxe - both amp & guitar bought new at the same time by my dad.
-

Bet ya didn't know The Heritage Co. made these solid body bolt-on guitars early on in their existence. They both play great.
-

-
These Hamer Californians are some of my favorites.

The solid flame bodies even look awesome from the side.
-

Enjoy.
-
Now if I could only get all my amps in one place, that would make for another awesome set of pics.

These two are my favorites. The amber colored one is set up @ 2/32 of an inch off the frets. Plays like butter. The aztec gold one is at 3/32 of an inch off the frets, plays great too.

As far as amps go, it's another long list,.......

Fender Tweed Deluxe (1957) pictured above
Spiegel 603a (1950's era)
HiWatt DR504 (Dan Reeves era)
Mesa Dual Recto head (early version/chrome chassis)
Mesa RoadKing head (red croccodile leather)
Randall RG80 head (early version carpeted)
Soldano SLO head (rare Chrome Crocodile tolex)
Stage rig - Mesa Tri-Axis/2:90 + extras
PODxt Live
Mesa 395 tube power amp
Marshall 9100 tube power amp (modded by Torres Engineering)
Carvin Tube 100 power amp
Rocktron Pro G.A.P. pre-amp
Rocktron Pirahna tube pre-amp
Bogner/Hafler Triple Giant tube pre-amp
Mesa amp switcher (chrome version)
2 Mesa 4x12 Recto cabs - Celestion V30's
1 Mesa 2x12 open back cab - Celestion C90's (red croccodile leather)
1 Mesa 2x12 Recto cab - Celestion V30's (red croccodile leather)
2 Randall 2x12 cabs - Jaguar speakers (carpeted)
Numerous rack effects, pedals, etc............
Plus some other stuff I probably have forgotten about.

I'm quite jealous of that PRS 24. All I have is a les paul.

Yes I'm serious. But I don't have that much invested. Pawn shops and ebay are your friends. I think the most I ever paid for a guitar was $1400 (the PRS and the Gary Moore L.P., both worth a lot more than that). I have only bought four new guitars from music stores, and they were all under $1k. The red flame Ovation $895, the two pick-up Heritage $725, the dk red 7-string $750, and one of the Hamers $350 were all new. I got the dk red 7-string on close-out from a local store. Of the Hamer's I have, the one all the way to your right (looks black in the pic, but it's really iridescent) I got at a store closing auction for $350 new. I went to the auction with $600 in my pocket. I bid up on the Hamer until I won it, then I bid on a new Crate "Blue Voodoo" tube combo amp. It went for $350 (I ran out of cash) to the highest bidder. So I missed it by $100. The other iridescent Hamer next to it I bought at a pawn shop for $275, no I'm not kidding. The EVH "Frankenstrat" I had built to spec, so it didn't come from a store. Every other guitar in these photos were bought "used" locally or on ebay. Other than the L.P. Special my dad gave me of course. There are some really great deals out there, just look around and you'll find them. By the way, every guitar I ever bought came with a hardshell case included in the price, except for the EVH Frankie.

Also, of all the amps I own, only two were bought new, my Randall RG80 head and my Mesa 2:90, all the rest were used.

Thanks, it's 1 of my top 5 to play on. But I like my flame maple Hamers better. So here's my order for the top 5

1 Amber Hamer
2 Aztec gold Hamer
3 Gary Moore L.P.
4 PRS
5 Gothic L.P./EVH Frankie, yeah it's a tie on those two.

All the others play great also, or I wouldn't still own them. If anybody here is a real player then you'll understand what I about to say. They each have a quality and character all their own, and makes them unique in their own special way.

Oh trust me, I know.

The only thing worse than DSM syndrome is GAS (Gear Aquisition Syndrome).

But from what I hear, there are some members here with just as many DSMs in their yard, most of which don't run. All my guitars play fine.

One thing about good guitars, they rarely ever loose their value, most go up over time. Wish we could say that about DSMs.
