You guys who added in regular and unscheduled maintenance, labor (dyno time included) and other general costs associated with owning a car shouldn't even be here if you're going to whine about how much you've spent or are spending to own a car, let alone a DSM money pit. Parts and hard items are the only things you should ever add up when finding out how much you truly have spent on your car(s).
In all, I am going to spend less than $5000 on my car, built engine, and a lot of other goodies. The end product will result in a car capable of over 300whp and mid-12 second 1/4 mile runs... But who cares, read the sig.
